Connect your apps
Connect email and calendar so Frida can gather the work in one place
How it works
When you connect your apps, the assistants can:
• Read your emails and suggest replies based on your history • See your meetings and use them as context in your replies • Learn your writing style automatically from your sent emails
Tip: You have full control. You can always revoke access – both in Frida and at the individual service.
Connect Outlook
- Go to Settings → Integrations
- Choose "Connect Outlook"
- Log in with your Microsoft account and approve permissions
With one connection, Frida gets access to both your email and your calendar – you do not need to connect them separately. When you approve, Frida automatically starts to: • Fetch your recent emails • Analyze your writing style from sent emails • Use your meetings as context (in replies, on the deal timeline and in the meeting briefing) • Remember context from previous conversations (smart memory)
Connect iCloud, Yahoo or another IMAP mailbox
Not using Outlook? Frida also supports IMAP — covering Apple iCloud, Yahoo Mail, and most other providers.
- Go to Settings → Integrations and choose "Other email providers"
- Pick your provider from the list — Apple iCloud, Yahoo, or "Other"
- Enter your email address and provider-specific app password
- Frida tests the connection and auto-fills the correct server settings
Why an app password? IMAP requires a separate password you create at your email provider (not your normal login). We link directly to the provider's guide.
Using Apple Hide-My-Email? Frida asks for your real iCloud address — the Hide-My-Email relay cannot be used over IMAP.
Check that it works
After connection:
• Your integration shows as "Connected" • You can see "Syncing..." while data is being fetched • Connected apps show green status
For email: Go to Inbox – your emails will start appearing.
If something goes wrong
• No emails after 5 min? Refresh the page and check that the connection is still active. • Wrong account connected? Remove the connection and connect again with the correct account. • Does it say "Need admin approval"? An administrator can approve Frida for the whole company at app.fridaapp.io/admin-consent. • IMAP test failing? Make sure you are using an app password (not your normal login) and that two-factor authentication is enabled at the provider. • iCloud address not working? If you have Apple's "Hide My Email" enabled, use your real iCloud, me.com, or mac.com address instead.
