Use your own knowledge in replies
Upload documents and build a knowledge base so Frida replies with your company’s real knowledge
What is the knowledge base?
The knowledge base is part of Personal and Pro and is only used when you have added documents yourself under Settings → Frida → Sources.
The knowledge base is your collection of documents that Frida can search through and use to answer questions.
Instead of writing everything manually, you can upload:
• Product information • Price lists • Manuals and guides • FAQ documents • Policies and procedures
When someone asks about something, Frida automatically finds relevant information from your documents.
Supported file types
Text documents: • PDF – Reports, manuals, brochures • Word (.docx) – Documents and guides • TXT – Plain text • Markdown (.md) – Formatted text
Email formats: • EML – Single email • MBOX – Archived emails
Archives: • ZIP – Bundled collection of documents
Max file size: 50MB per file Max count: Depends on your plan
How to upload documents
Step 1: Go to Settings → Frida → Sources and open the "Documents" tab
Step 2: Click "Upload document" or drag files in
Step 3: Wait while Frida processes the document • Text is extracted automatically • Content is divided into searchable parts • Semantic indexing is created
Step 4: The document is ready to use!
Frida automatically finds relevant information when writing replies.
Tip: Upload your most used documents first – price lists, product info and FAQ are good starting points.
Semantic search
Frida uses semantic search – this means it finds information based on meaning, not just keywords.
Example: Email: "What does your premium solution cost?"
Frida automatically finds: • Price list with premium prices • Product description of premium features • Any discount terms
Even if the words "premium solution" are not exactly written like that in the documents.
Manage documents
In the knowledge base you can:
• See all documents – Name, size, upload date • Search documents – Find specific content • Delete documents – Remove outdated files • Update documents – Upload new version
Best practice: • Keep documents updated • Remove outdated versions • Use descriptive file names
